Autumn 2021-2022
Welcome to the Autumn term in Nursery Class. On this page you will find information about topics, activities and our timetable for this half term.
I am looking forward to sharing lots of fun learning experiences with your children this term and I cannot wait to tell everyone about our first theme. Let's find out what we will be studying in Nursery Class this Autumn half term...
Our theme for the first half of the term is going to be...
To begin the Autumn Term the children will settle into the routines of their new class, enjoy learning with their friends and feel confident in their class.
We will learn how to be helpful, kind and thoughtful at home and at school. This project will also let you talk about your own families, how they are unique and special. We will talk about how and why it is important to be good friends to each other.
We will find out how the people in your family, school and local community are important and how they can help you.
Does this sound exciting? Remember in our EPIC sessions it's your ideas that count so get your thinking caps on ... what important people would YOU like to find out about?
After the October half term we will be studying ...
This half term we are learning about the natural changes that happen during the season of autumn, including how the weather changes, why trees lose their leaves and how wild animals prepare for winter.
It's over to you - time to start thinking of your ideas for our EPIC session, where we will decide together what we can learn about in our exciting theme 'Exploring Autumn!'
